And Now For Something Different
This week sees my last (well last planned) show of 2018. I have 3 pieces in the group exhibition “Celebration of Difference” at Nolia’s Gallery, 60 Great Suffolk Street, London, SE1 0BY. The show is open Monday 19th to Saturday 24th November (although Saturday is by appointment only). I will be at the Private View on Tuesday 20th from 6-8pm to talk about my work.
The show explores the diversity of existence, and I chose to base my work around humanity’s relationship with the landscape/environment, and specifically my personal relationship with the landscape in one case. And if you want to go there, the works can be seen to touch on more controversial topics too.
- Form over Substance, 28″ x 36″ acrylic and texture on canvas
- What is Lost is Lost Forever, 28″ x 36″ acrylic and texture on canvas
- I Know My Place, 28″x36″ acrylic and texture on canvas
- Take Me With You, 28″x36″ acrylic and texture on canvas
All 4 original works are 36″ (91cm) high by 28″ (71cm) wide, and are for sale at a price of £575. Come along to the Private View and I may even explain what was going through my head when I painted these!
Having seen hints of what the other artists’ work looks like, this looks to be an interesting, varied and thought-provoking show.
Hope you can make it, and look forward to seeing you there.
